There have been countless players under 18 since the inception of internet poker, ten years ago. I had a student, who was 16, and doing quite well, last we spoke. Since there is no internet poker (worthwhile, anyway) here in the US, I have not kept up with the goings on as far as cashouts. However, in the aftermath of the arrests of top executives of the major sites last year, you can bet that they are going to be watching out for anything that could kill whatever business they have left (in non-US countries) I have not even watched, but without the US players and money, internet poker sure as hell cannot be close to what it was. So, I'm quite sure they are going to be watching out for any illegal activity, including underage players.

Thus, the only thing to do, is to have a friend or relative that you trust, set up the accounts under their names, and handle your buy ins and cashouts under their account, until you reach that magic age of 18. Do not tell anyone, or use the chat box or anything that would remotely suggest that it is YOU (and not the official account holder) that is playing. I STRONGLLY URGE you, to NOT just set things up under your own name, as if you should like win a big tournament, or have some huge build up of money, and now want to cash out five figures, that THEY COULD VERY EASILY JUST SEIZE YOUR WHOLE ACCOUNT, AND GIVE YOU NOTHING.

This has happened before, to a student of mine that used HIS credit card to fund a friends's account. Minor offense, but they took advantage and kept four thousand dollars.

THESE SITES CANNOT BE TRUSTED,!!!! You dont know me, but if you research adamthexpert enough, you will realize that I know EXACTLY what I"m talking about!!1

Just look what they did to US players!!! I'm out 1200 myself, and about 150 million JUST ON FULL TILT ALONE, never given back to US players.

    THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

As such, NEVER, repeat NEVER leave that much money in the acount, at one time. !!! Not for aminute! If you win a big tourny, CASH OUT. have a big win CASH OUT. You can always put more back, but IF IT AI'NT THERE, THEY CANNOT STEAL IT FROM YOU.

Also, since Rolph Slotboom is from your country, I would imagine that there is good LIVE poker there in the Netherlands. SO . . . start planning to play in live casinos, when you reach the legal age (for that type of poker)

As I said, INTERNET CASINOS CANNOT BE TRUSTED. If you are serious about poker, forget that internet ever existed, and plan your life based on playing in REAL casinos.

    I have spoken,

    Adam
